GuideQ

Real screenshots, measured markers

Step-by-step guides for your software, written and photographed for you.

Tell GuideQ in a sentence what your customers need to do. Its assistant signs in to your application, clicks through the screens the way a person would, and comes back with a finished guide: every step written out, with a screenshot and a numbered marker on the button to press.

  • Five languages
  • HTML, Markdown or zip
  • Read-only sites stay untouched

How it works

Three steps from your application to a published guide.

Add your application

Its address and a login. The login is encrypted and only used to sign in for the screenshots.

Say what the guide should show

For example "create a new page and publish it". The assistant follows it on the real screens. An application you keep read-only is only looked at, never changed.

Check it and publish

Reword a step or drag a marker if you like, then publish the guide on its own page, or download it as HTML, Markdown or a zip with every screenshot.

Features

What every guide comes with.

Real screenshots

Taken from your application as it is today, sharp on any screen. After a redesign, one click takes them all again.

Markers on the right button

Each marker is placed on the control the step names, measured on the page, not drawn by hand.

Five languages

Translate a guide into German, English, Spanish, French or Italian, with screenshots of the interface in that language.

Your next guide, written and photographed for you

Describe the task once. The assistant walks your application, and you get every step with its screenshot and its marker, ready to check and publish.
